Did you type a connection that was correct but not get the points you deserved? If so, sorry. The system isn't perfect. Do give yourself the extra points mentally. (There's probably no need to comment about this, unless it's constructive.)
Micah & co: loved it :-) (3 months, 1 week ago)
J: me, homonyms might sound clever, but it's not right (you're thinking of homophones). "Sounds like letters" has the virtue of being correct. (9 months, 3 weeks ago)
me: homonyms of i c y etc is a valid answer! 'sounds like letters' is the v dumb version (1 year, 1 month ago)
Oatcaker Eater: Good grid with variety of categories. Is Coventry Street known beyond Monopoly ? (1 year, 5 months ago)
Mister Tom: Interesting looking back... I think contemporary grids tend to be a lot tougher, and of course would get battered for having old chestnuts like these in. Ok for beginners but needed more crossovers (a phrase my phone has now learnt) (1 year, 12 months ago)
SylT: Nice one (2 years, 4 months ago)
NL YCN N CT: FYI it's preceded not proceeded, as per one of your connections... (3 years, 6 months ago)
Big Phil: Too easy only took 30 secs

SMcK: Very enjoyable (3 years, 7 months ago)
Mogster: Enjoyed this grid. Thank you. (3 years, 7 months ago)
E.L.Wisty: Good grid. Fairly easy, but fun. Answers are straightforward, so can't see that any thing needs "refining". (3 years, 7 months ago)
Magpie: Thank you. Enjoyable grid (3 years, 7 months ago)
Winston Smith: I made a mistake when typing “Bond” and wrote it as “Dong”. I don’t know how I did that. Don’t let it put you off. (3 years, 7 months ago)
Winston Smith: What answer did you put?
That would be helpful.
Also, I haven’t a clue which one was red.
To make it clearer...
Numbers, Romans, Job, Ruth: “Book” or “Bible”
Christmas, Laugh, Leg, Straw: “Last”
Queue, Why, Owe, Sea: “Letter”
Fleet, Bow, Coventry, Dong: “Street” or “Monopoly”
They just needed the right words in them.
I’m not sure if I can edit them. Sorry about that. (3 years, 7 months ago)
Becky: Answer to red group needs refining as our answer we gave is the correct definition (3 years, 7 months ago)
