haywood: the "iron" red herring (curtain) ate up 2 of my minutes and totally scuppered me, so well done. A bit obscure with the Aussie/cricket clues though. (5 months, 1 week ago)

ETH: Clergy is not accepted because in Catholicism, one is only a memeber of the clergy if they have recieved Holy Orders, which no brother has, and most priors, monks and friars have not. It may be different in other branches of Christianity, but I am most familiar with Catholicism so that's what I based it on. If it is indeed different in other denominations that's my oversight and I appologise. (5 months, 2 weeks ago)
ETH: No "Clergy" accepted?! :( (5 months, 2 weeks ago)
Lebamski: A couple of simpler connections along with some more esoteric ones. Some nice crossovers make this a challenge. I enjoyed this grid. Thanks! (5 months, 2 weeks ago)
Andy P: Very clever. The Curtain line was the one that threw me, quite an obscure line for UK residents that one. Have never heard of "chef" in this context either. But thanks for the grid. (5 months, 2 weeks ago)
