Oatcake Eater: There is no link between Malé and Mail. Neither spelt or sound the same.
The Adams line impossible. Time for me to do one for you to try on Latin deponent verbs I think. (1 month, 1 week ago)

Cobalt: Great grid. Thanks for posting. 7/10 - I didn't get the last group either! (11 months, 3 weeks ago)

FirstGofer: Really enjoyed this grid... great construction and entertaining. Thanks! :-) (11 months, 3 weeks ago)

koshatnik: A fun grid, cheers. 7/10 thanks to being in the same boat as you and Mister Tom (11 months, 3 weeks ago)

JamesD: Thanks a lot for the comments. This one was largely a response to #15199, or perhaps it's more a matter of homage.

Ian: 10/10 Even though I don't watch that programme, managed to work it out after guessing the group of names. Liked the use of homophones in the masculine group. (11 months, 3 weeks ago)

Caz231231: Brilliant grid, really enjoyed this one. (11 months, 3 weeks ago)

Mister Tom: Neither did I...

@urbanbaboon: 7/10 just missed the very not-American group. I think I made it harder on myself than it should be (I saw a group that wasnt part of the game) (11 months, 4 weeks ago)

Steve h: Best one I’ve tried for a long time 6 for me (11 months, 4 weeks ago)

Andy P: That one was pretty cool - broke from the normal style of clue but not in a bad way. I was a bit blank when I first looked at it, but then ended up getting 10/10 anyway - to me, that's a sign of a good grid. (11 months, 4 weeks ago)
